Nancy Brown

Nancy is the wife of Dr. James Brown. They have been married for 21 years and have 2 children; Casey James is 18, and Laura Ashlie is 15.
Nancy has been the office manager at LPAH for several years. Nancy and Dr. Brown have 5 dogs and one cat.

Nan Gonzales

Nan has worked as a technician and kennel supervisor for 12 years. She lives on a farm and ran a goat dairy for 10 years. There she has 3 horses, a
donkey, only 2 old goats remaining, 1 goat dog, a lab and large mix dog, a Jack Russell mix, a Chihuahua and 2 cats.
Most goat inquiries are forwarded to
Naaaaan! Her passion is now grandchildren and her pets in that order. Travel is a growing interest that gets her off the farm some.
Most of the traveling is spent spending time with family.

Megan Newman

Megan is our receptionist. She started with is in July 2008. She is a graduate from Tarleton State University with an Agribusiness Degree. Megan and
her husband, J.R., are from Frankston.
They are the proud parents of "Josie", a Jack Russell and "Gus", a black and Tan Bloodhound.
They also have a small herd of Registered Black Simmentals.

Sonia Sharpe

Sonia is a receptionist/technician at LPAH. She started here in January 2009. She has worked in human medicine as a CAN and Phlebotomist until 2004,
then she decided to work in the animal field.
She attended Western Career College to study animal science and communication. She now lives in Bullard with her husband Mike, her grandfather, and
brother. They also have "Chloe", a St. Bernard/Lab mix, "Same", a three legged mix, which was a rescue from LPAB, and
"Shadow", a poodle

Kim Bachelder

Kim joined us in 2008. She has worked as a veterinary technician since 1999 in Dallas and Tyler.
Kim has 3 cats, "Louie", "Sam", & "Porkie" 2 dogs "Penny" and "Sam", and 2 horses

Kelly Parker

Kelly has been with us since 2006. She has worked primarily as our kennel attendant. She also is a technician that helps mainly in the large
animal area.
Kelly has a daughter, Lindsey, who is 5 and a Heeler mix named " Blue".

Cathy German

Cathy has been with us since May 2007. Her daytime job is at the Smith County Sheriff's Department, but in the afternoons she helps keep the
clinic and kennels looking clean!
Her and her husband have 7 dogs and 3 cats. She really brightens our afternoons with her funny stories.

Sherrie Scruggs

Sherrie is our groomer and she started with us in January 2009 after our tragic loss of JoAnne in 2008. Sherrie has been a GREAT asset to the team.
She is at our clinic only on Fridays due to her working at a groom shop in the area Monday through Thursday.
She has many dogs and cats. She enjoys raising bloodhounds, min-pins, and malteses.
